Fish In Creamy Lemon And Garlic Sauce

This recipe is hands down the easiest and the tastiest fish I have made in a while! This pan seared fish served with a creamy lemon and garlic sauce, is sure to steal your hearts. So stay tuned!
THINGS I USED:
· 3 pieces of Catla fish ( fish fillets can also be used )
· Salt
· Pepper
· Sugar
· 2 tablespoons of butter
· 2 tablespoons of refined oil
· 3 medium sized minced garlic cloves
· 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
· ½ cup of heavy cream ( low fat cream can also be used )
· dried fenugreek leaves
HOW I MADE IT:
· Season both sides of the fish with salt and pepper ( when preparing the dish with fish fillets, coat the fillets with flour after adding salt and pepper and shake off excess ) .
· Add 1 tablespoon if butter in a non-stick pan and melt it before adding 2 tablespoons of oil to it, mix it to the molten butter over medium-high heat.
· Add the fish, and let the sides cook for 5 mins each ( or, up to your convenience) before transferring the fish to a platter.
· Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan and let it melt.
· On melting, add the finely chopped pieces of garlic and sauté until they start turning brown and are fragrant. Add the lemon juice, stir and add ¾ cup of water. Boil for a minute.
· Add the cream to the mixture ( keep stirring while adding the cream into the lemon mixture to keep it from curdling ). Add 2 teaspoons of sugar and then add some more water and let it cook for a minute, until slightly thickened. Add dried fenugreek leaves.
· Remove from heat, and place fish pieces into the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and remove after 5 minutes.
· Sprinkle pepper and add a few slices of lemon.
Fish in creamy lemon and garlic sauce is ready! Serve hot with rice, pasta or with a salad. Enjoy!!
